The NCAA's recruiting dead period is currently set to run through the end of May, but prospective student-athletes can visit campuses on their own as long as they do not make contact with coaches. This is now actively happening across the country, and two of Tennessee's top targets made the trip to Knoxville today.

Twin brothers Destin and Keaten Wade both tweeted out they were in Knoxville for a visit of their own, and both have been in heavy contact with Tennessee's coaching staff of late.

Destin Wade is being recruited as a quarterback and athlete, while Keaten is being recruited as an outside linebacker.

"They still say they want me as a quarterback and athlete," Destin recently told VR2 on SI. "They have been saying a lot of good things."

"They said it is really important to recruit the home-state and keep players in-state. I think they are really pushing their in-state players. It has been great. We have been on a couple of zooms and FaceTimes with Coach Heupel. I feel there is a different vibe with the new coaching staff," he added on the message from Tennessee.

"They have been recruiting us hard," Keaten said recently. "We just went on a virtual visit the other day. I loved that. The coaching staff hopped on and talked to us. It just shows we are a priority and need at Tennessee."

While Heupel has been a big factor for both of the brothers since taking over, Keaten's relationship with Brian Jean-Mary from his time at Michigan has played a big factor for him with Tennessee.

"It is pretty big. It really changed my views and how I am thinking now. He is a great coach to be coached by and just a great guy all around," he said of Jean-Mary.

No decision timeline is in place for the brothers, but will they play together at the next level is the biggest question, and right now, they consider themselves a package deal.

"I believe that it would be best for us. The chemistry level would be really high, and we would help the team out," Keaten told VR2 on SI at Rocky Top Sports World 7v7.
