Volunteer Great Joins Tennessee State Staff

On a quiet National Signing Day for the Tennessee Volunteers, one former star made some waves. According to a press release from Tennessee State University, Peerless Price is joining their staff in a volunteer coaching role for the time being.
Big Blue Head Coach Rod Reed said in the statement, "Peerless will be a great addition to the staff. He has played the game at a high level collegiately and professionally. He will provide a wealth of knowledge to this staff and we're glad to have him aboard."
Price also discussed the opportunity of joining the Big Blue ranks, "Preparation is the separation. That's the way I've always went about life. If you don't prepare, you are preparing to fail. With that in mind, I just feel like I need to invest and prepare the next generation of young people. Preparing them for the game of life and what it takes to be a successful athlete and human being."
Price added, "Sports are a great teacher of all things one will encounter in life. I know the man on top of anything didn't just fall there. He or she works their tails off to get there. You have to be able to reach young people on a level that you can get the most out of them no matter what their skill set is! Get them to be the best version of themselves every single day, and I believe I can do that!! It's a gift , and I believe I was blessed with that gift."
Price joins former NFL standout Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie on the Big Blue staff.
