The Tennessee football program is now in day two of the Josh Heupel era, and players wasted no time getting to work this morning on Rocky Top.

Below, you can find clips that the football team’s Twitter account put out this morning. The team went through agility drills, weight work and even spent time practicing swim moves on dummies.

A few notable faces in the second video are Tennessee cornerback Alontae Taylor (who appears as vocal a leader as one would think), defensive lineman Omari Thomas, and quarterback Harrison Bailey, who’s shown encouraging defensive back Doneiko Slaughter as Slaughter pushes a weighted sled.

During a video on players’ first impressions from Heupel, Bailey said that there seemed to be a shift in the energy within Tennessee’s locker room.

It seems Tennessee has pushed that mood to the field.

In both videos, the Vols took to the Neyland-Thompson Sports Complex turf appearing fired up and ready for football. The Vols open the Heupel era at home against Bowling Green on September 4, 2021.
