Cameron Sparks Narrows Recruitment To Six Schools
Baylor School wide receiver Cameron Sparks announced his top six schools on Thursday afternoon: Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, and Tennessee. The talented athlete is high on the in-state Tennessee Volunteers and recently visited them for a junior day, one of numerous trips he's taken to Knoxville, Tennessee, over the years.
Auburn and Georgia are also heavily in this recruitment. However, Tennessee has set the tone for Sparks from day one. They were the first Division-1 program to offer him a scholarship and have been consistent in their pursuits since. Sparks is exploring options away from home, but the opportunity to stay in-state is always intriguing for prospects from Tennessee.
According to 247Sports' Composite Rankings, Sparks is the No. 42 prospect in the 2024 class. Sparks is quite interested in playing wide receiver when he gets to the college ranks, though he doubles as an elite defender for The Baylor School. Tennessee's offense caters to his skillset, and he's only just scraping his potential at wide receiver.
