Creekside High School wide receiver Dylan Vickerson recently released a list of his top five schools. He stands 6-2 and 201 pounds, hailing from Fairburn, Georgia. Vickerson ranks as the No. 505 prospect in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings. Shortly after releasing his list, Vickerson broke down his top schools and what makes them a top option with Volunteer Country.

  • Missouri: "Missouri is a top option for me because of everything Coach Wheeler and Drinkwitz are doing with their guys, and the program is really changing the Miz for the better. Who wouldn't want to be a part of that?"
  • UCF: "UCF has always had a special place in my heart; there's no doubt I always wanted to be a Knight, especially being 4 hours away from my hometown. I love everything Coach Malzahn has done for the program so far with him and his coaching staff; they are really second to none. The UCF culture and vibe are something I feel everyone should want to be part of."
  • North Carolina State: "NC State shows me nothing but love consistently. They are definitely a top choice for me because of the history of the program and the atmosphere everyone brings there. It is nothing but love coming from that way 200% of the time."
  • Maryland: "Maryland is a top option because of the history of the program and staff. Coach Locks is one of the realest head coaches you will run into in your process. Coach Brewer is a guru when it comes to receivers, having coached some of the best at the position in recent years. Maryland definitely stands tall in all categories."
  • Tennessee: "Tennessee is a top school for me because of the all-around atmosphere of the school; nothing beats it. Gameday is awesome, the coaching staff is one of the best, and a few players committed there have been in my ear a lot about coming up more and more."

He was asked what he believed he could bring to the table. "I bring A+ field smart play to programs; my amazing body and ball control, speed, route running, and excellent go-get-it wins over defensive backs. I am one of the hardest workers in my class. I bring physicality and toughness."
