Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre chose the Tennessee Volunteers over Alabama on Monday morning. He's the second five-star quarterback Tennessee has landed under head coach Josh Heupel, succeeding 2023 signee Nico Iamaleava. MacIntyre is the sixth commit for the Vols in the 2025 recruiting class and was their top target over the past year.

He's the No. 15 prospect in the 2025 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings. MacIntyre checks in as the No. 3 signal caller in his class and cements Tennessee as a premier program for prospects at that position. He brings a lot of good to the table and gives Tennessee a centerpiece which they can build their recruiting class around.

MacIntyre went on the radio on Wednesday morning to discuss why he chose the University of Tennessee. He appeared on 104.5 The Zone and explained, "I visited a lot of places across the country and still couldn't find a place better than the one in my home state."

Tennessee's 2025 Recruiting Class

  • George MacIntyre, QB
  • Justin Baker, RB
  • Jack VanDorselaer, TE
  • Shamar Arnoux, CB
  • Dylan Lewis, CB
  • Tyler Redmond, CB
