Jack VanDorselaer Talks Recruiting Top Prospects And Tennessee Visit
Tennessee has officially put together another recruiting event. Many recruits and prospects showed up to this event. Volunteer tight end commit Jack VanDorselaer was on campus and took the time to recap his time on Rocky Top with Volunteer Country.
The Tennessee commit was asked how his visit was overall, and he stated, “It was great! I got to spend some time with Coach [Alec] Abeln and Coach [Josh] Heupel. I went to the basketball game and saw the Tennessee atmosphere in a different setting. I also hung out with recent quarterback commit George MacIntyre.” He followed it up by saying, “It was good getting to speak with George. I got to hear his thought process and get to know him more. I’m glad he decided on Tennessee; it’s great to have a highly-ranked quarterback throwing you the ball.”
The talented tight-end commit had the chance to speak with staff, and they had a very specific task for him. “We talked about recruiting other players and how we could work together on that. Also, I just got to talk with them about non-football-related topics and enjoy spending time with them,” VanDorselaer states. He then provides a list of players he personally targets, as he states. “David Sanders Jr., Jaime Ffrench, and Marcus Harris are the list of players I’m personally looking to recruit to Tennessee. My pitch to them is: Come to Rocky Top! The fans are the best in the country, coaches are great men who will make you great, and there’s no cooler place to play football than Rocky Top.”
The 6’5, 230-pound tight end was asked about his standpoint on other visits with other schools and other things involving other schools. The talented commit says, “After every visit, I love Tennessee more and more each time. Tennessee is home for me, and we are going to build something special. There are no other visits planned for other schools in the future.”
