In this story:

Forney High School linebacker Kelvion Riggins committed to the Texas A&M Aggies on Friday afternoon. Riggins was leaning toward that direction ahead of the announcement, and the in-state appeal, coupled with a persistent pitch from Texas A&M, won them his services.

Many believed Riggins's decision was down to Tennessee and Texas A&M. He tripped to Knoxville, Tennessee, twice during 2022, once for a summer camp and the other for Tennessee's historic win over the Alabama Crimson Tide. Riggins has an extensive relationship with Texas A&M's campus, but some thought the recent coaching change has shaken things up. However, new head coach Mike Elko did a strong job closing the deal on this in-state recruitment.

The Vols landed Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre on Monday morning, a building block for their 2025 class. Tennessee's coaching staff believes they can build a strong class around MacIntyre on both sides of the football. They already have three defensive commits in the secondary, a trio of corners from Milton High School. They're looking to add more, especially in the linebacker room.

Linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary has done a good job with his unit since his arrival on Rocky Top, and he's looking to continue adding athletic, violent football players into the mix. Keep an eye on Rome High School linebacker Jaedon Harmon moving forward.

Tennessee's 2025 Recruiting Class

  • George MacIntyre, QB
  • Justin Baker, RB
  • Jack VanDorselaer, TE
  • Shamar Arnoux, CB
  • Dylan Lewis, CB
  • Tyler Redmond, CB
