The Volunteers had many top prospects on campus over the weekend and made ground with several important prospects. Providence Day School offensive lineman Leo Delaney stopped by Knoxville, Tennessee, for the first time and caught up with Volunteer Country following his trip.

Delaney ranks as the No. 28 prospect in the 2026 class, according to the 247Sports Rankings. He measures in at 6-6 and 280 pounds and lists offers from Florida State, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and more early in his recruitment. He's also teammates with 2025 five-star offensive tackle David Sanders Jr., a major target for the Vols.

"My visit went great! I saw a bunch of stuff I loved," the talented underclassman stated. He was asked about his conversations with the staff and which members he got to speak with. He says, "I got to be around Coach [Glen] Elarbee, Coach [Kevin Pendleton], and Coach [Josh] Heupel a lot. That went great, and I was glad to be able to spend a lot of time with them. They really just showed me what they had to offer and how they were upgrading the facilities; all of the resources the school had stood out, as well as how all the different portions of staff worked together."

Finally, the offensive lineman was asked how he felt he could fit into this system and if he felt Tennessee was in a top-school spot in his recruitment. He confirms, "I think I could definitely fit into the system; they run all types of plays, and I’m a very versatile player, so that could play to my advantage. Tennessee definitely is among my top, and I plan on coming back for a spring practice."
