Zion Grady Sets Official Visit Trips

In this story:
Enterprise High School edge rusher Zion Grady committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide in November, right before the end of his junior season. Grady tallied 87 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, and 11 sacks, continuing a dominant prep career in the state of Alabama.
However, a wrinkle was thrown into his recruitment. Legendary Alabama head coach Nick Saban retired after the 2023 season, and Grady decommitted a week after the news. He's reopened his recruitment to various suitors and has visited Florida State, Georgia, and Miami since he decommitted. The No. 25 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings, has scheduled four official visits for the spring.
Zion Grady's Official Visit Schedule
- Miami: May 31 - June 2
- Florida State: June 7 - 9
- Tennessee: June 14 - 16
- Georgia: June 21 - 23
Grady has also confirmed that he's working to set up an official visit with the Auburn Tigers. He's planning to see Auburn, Georgia, Miami, and Tennessee during the spring on unofficial visits. Grady could return to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to see the Crimson Tide in the spring, and since the NCAA expanded its official visit rules, he could stretch things out to the fall and take more than five official visits. He broke down his interest in the Vols with On3's Chad Simmons following his visit announcements.
"I want to get back to Tennessee. Coach Chop [Levorn Harbin] and I have been talking to him since ninth grade. There is great energy at Tennessee and I just to talk with the coaches more." - Zion Grady to On3 on Tennessee
Grady has been to Knoxville, Tennessee, twice and will now have seen the campus four times before making his college announcement. Defensive line coach Rodney Garner will be pivotal in this recruitment, as will defensive analyst Levorn Harbin.
