NCAA Tournament Watch: Where Will the Red Raiders Land?

A look at where the Red Raiders could end up in the NCAA Tournament.

With six games left in the regular season, the Red Raiders will look to finish their season on a high note to improve their seed in the NCAA Tournament come June.

As things currently stand most projections do not have the Red Raiders hosting a regional as a top 16 seed. In fact, the most recent projection has the Red Raiders as the No. 3 seed in the Athens regional.

The Athens regional sees the Georgia Bulldogs as the No. 1 seed and the No. 8 overall seed in the country. The Red Raiders and the Bulldogs are projected to be joined by the No. 2 seed Florida State and No. 4 seed SE

While being a three-seed after such a strong start to their season might come off as a disappointment for the Red Raiders, they still have plenty of time to boost their stock and push their way into the two-seed range.

However, should they end up as a three seed in a regional come June the Red Raiders would easily be one of the most dangerous three seeds in the field of 64. Boasting one of the most potent offenses in the Big 12, led by second baseman Jace Jung, and solid pitching staff, don't count out the Red Raiders to make some noise in whatever regional they are placed in.
