No. 9 Longhorns Cruise Past No. 3 Jayhawks 75-59: Live Game Log

The Longhorns are at home for their regular season finale against the Jayhawks.

The No. 9 Texas Longhorns (22-8, 11-6) are back in action on Saturday afternoon as they take on the No. 3 Kansas Jayhawks (25-5, 13-4) at home to close out the regular season.

It has been a slight rough patch for the Longhorns as of late, losing their last two games - 81-72 to No. 7 Baylor and 75-73 to No. 22 TCU. Even with their hopes for a regular season conference title no longer viable, the Longhorns hope to avoid a three-game losing streak to end the season.

However, a win would greatly benefit the Longhorns ahead of March Madness by keeping them a strong candidate to be a No. 2 seed when the bracket is announced.

As for the Jayhawks, they enter Saturday's matchup riding a seven-game win streak with the regular season conference title wrapped up as well as a firm grasp on a No. 1 seed in the tournament. A win for Kansas, though, could further cement its resume to be the No. 1 overall seed.

The Longhorns fell to the Jayhawks in their first matchup 88-80, and will look to avoid the season sweep.

Stay tuned as we provide live updates from the Longhorns regular season finale against the Jayhawks on Saturday afternoon.

Live updates will be available after tip off.
