AUSTIN -- The Texas Longhorns will visit the No. 3 Houston Cougars on Saturday with sights set on pulling off a massive, resume-defining road win at Fertitta Center. Both teams will be on seven days worth of rest after not playing during the week

Texas (16-8, 5-6) is coming off a dominant 94-58 win over West Virginia last Saturday, where the Longhorns, despite getting just four points from their bench, set a program record with 28 assists while all five starters scored at least 12 points.

Houston (21-3, 8-3) moved up to No. 3 in the AP Poll after securing a hard-fought 67-62 road win over a tough Cincinnati squad last Saturday.

The Cougars beat the Longhorns in a 76-72 overtime thriller in Austin on Jan. 29, and will now be looking to secure a potential season sweep (barring a meeting in the Big 12 Tournament) as Texas exits the conference.

Texas forward Dylan Disu is the reigning Big 12 Player of the Week after averaging an impressive 27.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.5 blocks over the last two games, but getting similar production against Houston will be a tall task.

Either way, he's looking forward to the challenge.

"It's going to be an exciting game," Disu said Thursday. "There will be a lot of eyes on the game, of course. We're looking to match their physicality, obviously. You can't go in there soft."
