Texas Longhorns vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys: Preview, Betting Odds, How to Watch

In this story:
AUSTIN -- The Texas Longhorns will play the Oklahoma State Cowboys for the final time as Big 12 opponents on Saturday when the two rivals face off at the Moody Center in a late-season conference matchup.
Texas (18-10, 7-8 Big 12) is coming off of its most resounding win of the season on Tuesday after taking down Texas Tech in an 81-69 blowout before a sellout crowd in Lubbock. Despite tempers flaring and bottles being thrown onto the court, the Longhorns weathered the emotions and significantly boosted their NCAA Tournament chances with the win.
Despite being one of the worst teams in the conference, Oklahoma State (12-16, 4-11 Big 12) has picked up some big wins in February. However, the Cowboys ended the month with a sour taste in their mouth after a buzzer-beating loss to Oklahoma on Feb. 24 before a second straight home loss to UCF this past Wednesday.
OSU began the month with a road win over Kansas State and beat then-No. 19 BYU on Feb. 17 before taking down a solid Cincinnati squad on the road a few nights later. With nothing to lose, the Cowboys will certainly be marching into Austin with a chip on their shoulder and upset on their minds come Saturday.
Oklahoma State is led by East Carolina transfer guard Javon Small. He's averaging 14.6 points, five rebounds and 4.4 assists this season all while showing he's equipped for the Big 12.
The Cowboys are still without standout veteran guard and second-leading scorer Bryce Thompson, who is out for the year following shoulder surgery. He averaged 11.6 points in 18 games this season.
