The Texas Longhorns (15-7) are back in action on Friday night as they kick off a three-game weekend series against the Texas Tech Red Raiders (18-4, 2-1) to start conference play.

Disch-Falk Field has been extremely kind to the Longhorns this season, as they boast an impressive 14-2 record at home - including their current 11-game winning streak to start their 14-game home stand.

Their most recent win came in an offensive slugfest against Incarnate Word on Tuesday, which saw the Longhorns put up 17 runs on 15 hits including five home runs.

Now, though, they must turn their attention to a Red Raiders team that not only looks like a legitimate threat to win the Big 12 but also to make it back to Omaha and the College World Series.

Through their first 22 games the Red Raiders have averaged over 10 runs per game and feature one of college baseball's best offenses. This will be the Longhorns toughest test yet, and a chance to see how they stack up with an elite team.

Stay tuned as we provide live updates as the Longhorns kick off conference play against the Red Raiders from Disch-Falk Field.

Live updates will be available after first pitch.
