After being offered by the Longhorns at Junior Day on Jan. 20, top-ranked athlete Michael Terry III plans to return to Austin for the spring game on April 20.

He'll then take an official visit to Nebraska the following weekend, with a potential official visit to Texas also in the works. Terry's presence adds to the list of elite recruits visiting for the spring game.

Terry was impressed by Texas during his Junior Day visit, praising the coaches and campus atmosphere. He described the coaching staff as "incredible" following the visit on Jan. 20.

The official visit date to Texas is still being finalized. Additionally, other programs like TCU, Oregon, and Texas A&M have also caught Terry's attention, with official visits to these schools potentially happening this summer.

Wide receivers coach Chris Jackson takes the lead in recruiting Terry for the Longhorns, with head coach Steve Sarkisian offering him at Junior Day on Jan. 20. Terry stays in touch with both coaches.

With Jackson heavily involved, it's likely Terry will join as a wide receiver in the Longhorns' 2025 class.

The San Antonio native, showcases versatility at Alamo Heights High School, playing various positions including wildcat quarterback, receiver, linebacker, and defensive back. His adaptability and size make him a prime candidate for the boundary spot in Sarkisian's offense.
