OFFICIAL: Four-Star WR Parker Livingstone Signs With Texas

In this story:
While much of the attention in Texas 2024 recruiting class at the wide receiver position is going to five-star Ryan Wingo, four-star pass catcher Parker Livingstone is someone who has a chance to be an extremely productive receiver for the Longhorns.
On Wednesday, he officially signed with the Longhorns, as a part of their extremely talented and deep 2024 class. Livingstone is someone who many view as one of the more underrated players in the entire class. According to 247Sports, he held nearly 40 offers, and chose the Longhorns over some of the other biggest names in the sport.
Aside from Texas, programs such as South Carolina, Arkansas, LSU, Florida State, and Michigan were all pursuing the talented pass catcher out of Lucas, Texas. The 6-foot-3 pass catcher ranks as the No. 269 player in the country, No. 45 wide receiver, and No. 44 player in the state of Texas.
Unfortunately for Livingstone, his senior season at Lovejoy was cut short due to an injury during their August 31 game, and resulted in him being in a walking boot. He was only able to play in two games, but when looking at it from that perspective, he was on track to explode this season. In just those couple of games, Livingstone racked up 20 catches for 333 yards and three touchdowns. In the first game of the season alone, he had 12 catches for 252 receiving yards and three touchdown catches, while also throwing a 52-yard touchdown pass.
Don't be surprised if he ends up being a name that announcers are constantly saying during his tenure.
