Evaluation:

An athletic playmaker, Wash is a playmaker who constantly shows up around the football. The most obvious trait that stands out upon film review is his vertical game. Wash can play above the rim, appears to have an impressive vertical game and thrives on winning 50/50 jump balls. Another characteristic that is endearing to any coach is his man coverage ability to stick with receivers in their side pocket. There is room for improvement for his footwork but overall, Wash often times finds himself in correct position, displays excellent awareness and is willing to lay the lumber when presented with the opportunity. There are any number of positions that Wash would be capable of playing. While he is a hard-nosed runner as a wide receiver and tough to bring down and he could play either safety spot due to his centerfield prowess but his most valuable position will be as a lockdown boundary corner, capable of guarding big, small, or fast opponents. It would not be surprising to see Wash eventually emerge into CB1 for the Huskies, capable of following the number one wide receiver and lining up on either side of the field.
