Kedrick Bingley-Jones, a four-star defensive end from Kannapolis, announced his commitment to Carolina on Saturday, choosing the Tar Heels over Duke, Florida and Ohio State.

Ranked No. 160 overall by 247 Sports, Bingley-Jones is the 22nd commitment in the Class of 2020, and sixth four-star recruit to choose Carolina.

This week

Players will be in full pads for the first time at Tuesday's practice, which is one of the few scheduled for the afternoon during camp. Brown wants his players to get acclimated to the conditions they could face when they meet South Carolina at 3:30 p.m. in the season-opener on Aug. 31 vs. South Carolina.

Brown will be available to the media after Tuesday's practice, then Carolina will get its first off-day on Wednesday. For the rest of the week, practices are set for 10 a.m. with Brown scheduled to meet with the media again on Sunday.
