Four-star athlete Ja'Qurious Conley commits to Carolina

You don't always have to wait for good things.
Originally set to make an announcement next week, Ja'Qurious Conley decided to commit to the Tar Heels on Thursday night in a decision he announced on Twitter.
Conley, a 6-2, 190-pound safety from Jacksonville, is considered a four-star recruit by 247 Sports, which ranks him as No. 11 nationally among safeties and No. 5 among all players in the state of North Carolina.
Officially, 247 Sports lists Conley as an athlete. His other finalists were Duke and South Carolina

His commitment, Thursday afternoon at Northside High School, gives the Tar Heels seven four-star recruits in the Class of 2020 and quickly made up for the loss of four-star defensive tackle Tonka Hemingway, who announced his decision to play for the Gamecocks earlier on Thursday.
Overall, Carolina has commitments from six of the top 25 in-state players in the Class of 2020, with N.C. State just behind with five.
