USC Basketball: Boogie Ellis Selected for Men's 3-Point Championship

Ellis had his best shooting percentage from beyond the arc in his fifth collegiate season.

The USC Trojans didn't have the best year in what was supposed to be a promising 2023-2024 season; however, it was quite the season for the fifth-year player and three-year Trojan guard Boogie Ellis.

Ellis' numbers across the board were great, but his three-point percentage stood out the most, shooting his career best. Because of his sharpshooting prowess, he will participate in the Men's Three-Point Championship. USC Men's Basketball announced via X.

The competition will occur in Phoenix, Arizona, on April 4th at Gran Canyon University.
Ellis made 41.8% of his three-point shots, the highest of his college career. Overall, the fifth-year senior averaged 16.5 points per game, 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.4 steals in 29 games.

Ellis attempted 208 threes and made 87 of them; four more made threes than his previous high while attempting eight fewer threes than last season. It's unclear where Ellis will go now that his time at USC has come to an end. Regardless, we wish him the best in his next journey and wish him luck in the competition.
