USC Basketball: Trojans Defeat 8th-Seeded Washington to Advance to Pac-12 Tournament Quarterfinals

The Trojans are rolling at the right time.

In the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament, the 9th-seeded USC Trojans squared off with the 8th-seeded Washington Huskies, coming away with an 80-74 victory.

On the back of a 25-point outing from guard Boogie Ellis, USC has advanced to play the 1st-seeded Arizona Wildcats tomorrow at 12 p.m. PST.

Beyond Ellis, Kobe Johnson and Isaiah Collier added 14 points and 13 points respectively. They two, along with Bronny James, combined for 19 rebounds, which is a specifically great look given how much the Trojans struggled on the glass earlier in the season.

Down the stretch of the game, the reliable 3-level scoring of Boogie Ellis combined with Isaiah Collier's downhill force and Kobe Johnson's defense formulated a 2-way force that is a nightmare for anyone to stop and is an extension of what we saw in their upset win against Arizona a few days ago.

Winners of 6 of their last 8 and 4 straight, USC has found all the momentum at the right time, and if anyone can steal a March Madness bid in the Pac-12, it's Andy Enfield's squad.

Here are some of the Trojans' highlights on the day:
