It seems that former USC Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams' NFL fate seems to be coming more into the light with each passing day Williams is expected to go first overall in the upcoming NFL Draft after another solid year with the Trojans.

The Chicago Bears currently hold the first overall pick, but there has been speculation of them possibly moving the pick due to already having a franchise quarterback. Chicago has Justin Fields under center, but Williams would give the team a chance to fully start over.

Many have believed that the Bears would move on from Fields to draft Williams and it looks more likely that will be the case. It's now being reported that Fields may be heading to the Las Vegas Raiders if a deal can be agreed upon.

The Bears moving Fields would all but ensure Williams will be drafted by Chicago. He is a true game-changer at the position and someone that the Bears could build around for years to come.

Many in the NFL see Williams as a "generational" level player, so the Bears would be foolish to pass him up. Giving up on Fields won't be easy for Chicago, but they are in a great spot to start building back toward contention.

It seems that we have more insight into this complex situation and now will wait to find out the full details if Fields ends up being traded away.
