Your USC women's volleyball team couldn't quite elevate its win streak to double digits on Friday.

Per USC's official site, the Women of Troy saw their 9-0 win streak ended in a 3-2 upset defeat at Desert Financial Arena on Friday night, against the 16-1 Arizona State University Sun Devils.

USC bounced back in a big way in its next matchup. 

USC reports that on Sunday, thanks to a 23-kill night from 6'2" senior outside hitter Skylar Fields (who also logged an ace and a block) and a 46-assist, 12-dig double-double from 5'9" junior setter Mia Tuaniga (her sixth of the year), the club rebounded with a 3-2 victory over the 6-11 Pac-12 rival Arizona Wildcats on Sunday, thanks to a 23-kill night from 6'2" senior outside hitter Skylar Fields (who also logged an ace and a block) and a 46-assist, 12-dig double-double from 5'9" junior setter Mia Tuaniga (her sixth of the year).

The Trojans elevated their 2023-24 season record to 11-5 (5-1 in the Pac-12). Their subsequent matchup is set for Friday against the Stanford Cardinal, and will be broadcast at 8 p.m. on the Pac-12 Networks.
