Jonah Elliss Goes to Atlanta in Latest Sports Illustrated Mock Draft

Mock draft season continues to roll on and Fan Nation NFL Draft just released their 3-round Super Bowl week mock-up. 

Utah's breakout DE Jonah Elliss has made his name a staple in 2-3 round mock drafts after his impressive Senior Bowl outing boosted his draft stock significantly. 

In other recent mock drafts, the Moscow, Idaho native has been hovering around the mid to late second round ranging from pick 55, which would see him land in Cleveland all the way to pick 62, landing him in Detroit. 

However, this mock draft sees the 6'2" 246-pound edge rusher land in the third round to the Falcons at pick 74. Atlanta is an up-and-coming team filled with young talent such as Drake London and Kyle Pitts, while also sporting a veteran defensive unit led by Grady Jarrett. 

With former Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris taking over the reins as head coach, Elliss would come into a rejuvenated culture and a new system so he could grow and fully integrate into the team from the outset. 

Being able to learn and crash the opposing team's pocket with the veteran Jarrett would give the Utah star's early career a jolt in the right direction and set him up for success for years to follow.
