2024 NFL Mock Draft: New 3-Round Projections for Super Bowl Week

As the Super Bowl draws near, here's an updated look at how the first three rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft could turn out.

The Senior Bowl is in the books, and Super Bowl week is upon us, leaving us with just one game remaining before the offseason officially begins for all 32 NFL teams.

After a revelatory week of action in Mobile, plenty of prospects have their draft stock moving in the right direction, with a few even launching themselves into the first-round conversation.

As we get ready for Sunday's showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs for the Lombardi Trophy, here's an updated look at how the first three rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft could turn out:

*=projected trade

1. Chicago Bears (from CAR)

Caleb Williams | QB | USC

USC quarterback Caleb Williams

At this point, all signs seem to point toward the Bears keeping this pick and using it on Williams. This would allow them to reset at quarterback with another high-upside player on a fresh rookie contract, while dealing Fields elsewhere for additional picks. For this mock scenario, we'll have Chicago getting a second-round pick this year and a conditional second-rounder next year from the Atlanta Falcons for Fields.

2. Washington Commanders

Drake Maye | QB | North Carolina

North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye

It's hard to blame Sam Howell for the problems Washington had on offense last season, but with new management taking over, they're more likely to start over at quarterback with this pick. Much like Williams, Maye had an up-and-down 2023 campaign, but still has all the tools to be a superstar passer at the next level.

3. New England Patriots

Jayden Daniels | QB | LSU

LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels

Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. should get strong consideration here, but nothing matters until you have a quarterback, and the Pats need one as badly as any team in the league. Daniels made huge strides as a passer last season on his way to winning the Heisman Trophy, and would give New England a true dual-threat weapon.

4. Arizona Cardinals

Marvin Harrison Jr. | WR | Ohio State

Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.

This is the ideal scenario for the Cardinals, who desperately need a true No. 1 receiver for Kyler Murray. It's unfair to expect the younger Harrison to one day join his dad in the Hall of Fame, but Junior is the best overall prospect in this entire draft, and has the talent and polish to live up to the lofty expectations.

5. Los Angeles Chargers

Brock Bowers | TE | Georgia

Georgia tight end Brock Bowers

The Chargers could easily go receiver here with two elite talents on the board there, but with a trio of Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and 2023 first-rounder Quentin Johnston, the bigger need is at tight end. Thankfully for them, there's an elite talent available there, too. Bowers is a complete player who would make an immediate impact.

6. New York Giants

Rome Odunze | WR | Washington

Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze

The Giants have some talented role players at receiver, but they need a more complete player as their No. 1 target. This is a tough call between Odunze and LSU's Malik Nabers, but Odunze's combination of size, physicality and polish gives him the edge for New York here.

7. Tennessee Titans

Joe Alt | OT | Notre Dame

Notre Dame offensive tackle Joe Alt

Outside of 2023 first-round pick Peter Skoronski, this entire offensive line needs a complete overhaul. The biggest need is at left tackle, where the Titans need an upgraded blind-side protector for Will Levis. The son of a Pro Bowl tackle, Alt is one of the most pro-ready prospects in this entire class.

8. Atlanta Falcons

Malik Nabers | WR | LSU

LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers

After trading for Fields in this mock scenario, the Falcons don't have to reach for a quarterback here. A stud pass rusher is tempting, but if Nabers is still on the board (he shouldn't be), he'd be too much to pass up. Adding his explosiveness and big-play ability to an offense with Fields, Drake London, Bijan Robinson and Kyle Pitts would be fun to watch.

9. Chicago Bears

Laiatu Latu | EDGE | UCLA

UCLA edge defender Laiatu Latu

Montez Sweat made an immediate impact after Chicago acquired him at the trade deadline last year, but they still need another dynamic edge rusher on the other side. Medical evaluations will have a big impact on Latu's draft stock, but when healthy, he's proven he can be a dominant force.

10. New York Jets

Olu Fashanu | OT | Penn State

Penn State offensive tackle Olu Fashanu

If the Jets want to make sure Aaron Rodgers doesn't suffer another serious injury next season, they'll need to make some big upgrades to the offensive line, particularly at tackle. Fashanu might have been a top-10 pick last year, but will be even more polished and pro-ready after another season of experience.

11. Minnesota Vikings

Dallas Turner | EDGE | Alabama

Alabama edge defender Dallas Turner

It still makes the most sense for Kirk Cousins to return, which would keep the Vikings from reaching for a quarterback here. If that's the case, they can focus on their many needs on defense instead, starting with an explosive edge rusher in Turner who put up big numbers for the Crimson Tide last season.

12. Denver Broncos

J.J. McCarthy | QB | Michigan

Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy

It looks like the Russell Wilson era in Denver is coming to a screeching halt, and the Broncos don't have much of a succession plan on the current roster. That could force them to reach for one of this year's second-tier quarterback prospects, and while McCarthy is still unproven as a passer, he's shown flashes that could end up making him a top-15 pick.

13. Las Vegas Raiders

Bo Nix | QB | Oregon

Oregon quarterback Bo Nix

If a fourth quarterback comes off the board ahead of them, the Raiders might go into panic mode with this pick. They don't have a starting-caliber passer on the roster right now, and the veteran market might not give them many quality options. If they value experience and production, they could end up reaching for Nix here.

14. New Orleans Saints

Taliese Fuaga | OT | Oregon State

Oregon State offensive tackle Taliese Fuaga

Derek Carr failed to live up to his hefty contract last season, but it's hard to imagine any quarterback would have had much success behind the Saints' offensive line. This year's loaded offensive tackle class should give them plenty of quality options here, and Fuaga's physicality and punishing style of play should give him the nod.

15. Indianapolis Colts

Terrion Arnold | CB | Alabama

Alabama cornerback Terrion Arnold

Indy's secondary needs help at both levels, and with no defensive backs off the board yet in this scenario, they get their pick of this year's top prospects at both corner and safety. The former being the more premium position, the Colts opt for a complete defender on the perimeter in Arnold, who was dominant for Bama last year.

16. Seattle Seahawks

Troy Fautanu | OL | Washington

Washington offensive lineman Troy Fautanu

The most glaring need for Seattle is along the interior of the offensive line, and they shouldn't have to look far for the ideal player to fill it. Fautanu starred for the nearby Huskies at left tackle, but he could be even more dominant at the next level if he slides inside to guard.

17. Jacksonville Jaguars

Quinyon Mitchell | CB | Toledo

Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell

Fautanu would also be a strong fit for the Jags, but if he's off the board, they should pivot to their biggest need on defense. That's at corner, where they need another stud defender to pair with Tyson Campbell on the outside. Mitchell backed up his solid film and impressive production with a strong week at the Senior Bowl.

18. Cincinnati Bengals

Tyler Guyton | OT | Oklahoma

Oklahoma offensive tackle Tyler Guyton

Free agency could leave Joe Burrow in need of more pass-catchers, but it wouldn't be surprising if the Bengals opted for an upgrade at right tackle with their top pick instead. Guyton is a smooth-moving blocker with impressive athleticism for his size, and the experience at right tackle to be a plug-and-play starter.

19. Los Angeles Rams

Jared Verse | EDGE | Florida State

Florida State edge defender Jared Verse

There are plenty of needs for the Rams, most of them on defense, so this pick is about matching them with the best value on the board. That points them to the edge rusher spot, where the recent departures of Von Miller and Leonard Floyd have left them without an impact player. Verse is a well-rounded player with the polish to make an instant impact.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers

JC Latham | OT | Alabama

Alabama offensive tackle JC Latham

After going three decades without spending a first-round pick on an offensive tackle, the Steelers could end up doing it two years in a row. Broderick Jones should lock down one spot for a while, but Pittsburgh needs an upgrade on the other side. Latham is a massive mauler with impressive movement skills for his size.

21. Miami Dolphins

Jackson Powers-Johnson | OL | Oregon

Oregon offensive lineman Jackson Powers-Johnson

Miami has a stud quarterback and explosive weapons, but they need to reinforce the trenches if they want their offense running at full throttle. Offensive tackle is a possibility here, but the opportunity to grab the top center prospect in the class might be too tempting. Powers-Johnson was dominant during Senior Bowl week, just like he was last year for the Ducks.

22. Philadelphia Eagles

Kool-Aid McKinstry | CB | Alabama

Alabama cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry

Philly has a solid pair of veteran corners, but Darius Slay and James Bradberry aren't getting any younger. It's time for a youth movement at the position, and this year's deep class should give the Eagles some strong options in the first round. McKinstry's combination of size, length and athleticism would make him a fantastic fit.

23. Houston Texans (from CLE)

Byron Murphy II | DL | Texas

Texas defensive lineman Byron Murphy II

First-year head coach DeMeco Ryans led Houston to a division title, and while things are only looking up for this young and promising team, they still have a few glaring needs. One is along the interior of the defensive line, where they need a disruptive force like Murphy to wreak havoc on opposing offenses.

24. Dallas Cowboys

Graham Barton | OL | Duke

Duke offensive lineman Graham Barton

Dallas needs help at multiple spots along the offensive line, and potential departures in free agency could make those needs even more dire. Barton has done most of his work at tackle for the Blue Devils, but his ability to play all five positions in the offensive trenches would make him an ideal pick for the Cowboys.

25. Green Bay Packers

Cooper DeJean | DB | Iowa

Iowa defensive back Cooper DeJean

Another defensive backfield that needs help at both levels, the Packers have the opportunity to address that area with a versatile playmaker who can line up anywhere in the secondary. DeJean is one of the most athletic players in the entire draft, and could play outside or in the slot at corner, as well as on the back end at safety.

26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Chop Robinson | EDGE | Penn State

Penn State edge defender Chop Robinson

The Bucs are likely to move on from veteran Shaq Barrett for salary cap reasons, and they didn't pick up the fifth-year option on 2021 first-rounder Joe Tryon-Shoyinka. That means they'll need another dynamic edge rusher to pair with star rookie YaYa Diaby, and Robinson might have the most explosive first step in this year's class.

27. Arizona Cardinals (from HOU)

Nate Wiggins | CB | Clemson

Clemson cornerback Nate Wiggins

Since the departure of Patrick Peterson, the Cardinals haven't had a true shutdown corner on the outside, and they desperately need to find a player who can have that kind of impact. Wiggins has the height, length, instincts and ball skills to do his best impressive of the former top-five pick.

28. Buffalo Bills

Brian Thomas Jr. | WR | LSU

LSU wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr.

Stefon Diggs is still one of the best wide receivers in the league, but the Bills need to add another blue-chip pass-catcher to help Josh Allen. Thomas has a rare blend of size and speed, and his ability to challenge opposing defenses over the top would give Diggs more room to work the short and intermediate areas of the field.

29. Detroit Lions

Ennis Rakestraw Jr. | CB | Missouri

Missouri cornerback Ennis Rakestraw Jr.

The new regime in Detroit has built a legit contender, but they still have a few big needs to address this offseason, none bigger than the secondary. The most pressing need there is at corner, where injuries and inconsistency have plagued the Lions. Rakestraw is a smart, physical cover man who could start from Day 1.

30. Baltimore Ravens

Jer'Zhan Newton | DL | Illinois

Illinois defensive lineman Jer'Zhan Newton

The best teams in the NFL build from the trenches out, and the Ravens are one of the best teams in the NFL. They need interior help on both sides of the ball, and if they can't keep breakout star Justin Madubuike with a long-term extension, another explosive inside defender like Newton would be an ideal replacement.

31. Kansas City Chiefs

Darius Robinson | DL | Missouri

Missouri defensive lineman Darius Robinson

Most mocks have the Chiefs targeting a receiver or a left tackle, and with good reason. But they might have to replace their best defensive player in Chris Jones this offseason, so why not target a replacement with similar upside? Robinson dominated during Senior Bowl week, and has the power, athleticism and versatility to be an ideal fit.

32. San Francisco 49ers

Amarius Mims | OT | Georgia

Georgia offensive tackle Amarius Mims

The 49ers have a perennial All-Pro at left tackle in Trent Williams, but they desperately need an upgrade on the opposite side. Mims missed part of the 2023 season with an ankle injury, but at full strength, he's been a dominant force for the Bulldogs, with an impressive blend of size, power, and athleticism.

Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr.
