Urban Meyer Weighs In On Michigan Sign Stealing Scandal

Former Utah Utes head coach Urban Meyer shared his stance on the Michigan sign-stealing scandal on a podcast.

College Football legend Urban Meyer recently appeared on Bleav FanNation's Bleave In Buckeye Football Podcast to share his thoughts on the recent sign-stealing scandal of his former rival Michigan.

Meyer made a rather blunt statement on the distinction between what Michigan was accused of compared to what 'most' teams normally do by saying "If you're saying everybody does that, you have no idea what you're talking about."

He continued by saying, "To send people out on the road scouting, I have never heard of that. The answer is yes, that's cheating when you see the videos like everyone has seen."

While Jim Harbaugh has repeatedly denied his involvement in the scandal that sent Connor Stallions to opponent's games to "scout" them out, Meyer has his suspicions.  "The question is if Jim Harbaugh is behind it or knew about it, if that is the case that is a hard one to recover from," as Meyer further emphasized that it's hard for him to believe that the entire scandal was only the result of one man.

However this may saga end, it has surely sent ripples throughout the college football world and could potentially degrade the reputation the sport has if the investigation continues to dig up and publicize information on Michigan and potentially other programs in the process.
