It's early, but Vanderbilt basketball and head coach Jerry Stackhouse have recieved their first commitment for the class of 2020.

Myles Stute, a 6'6" 220 small forward from Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C. commited to the Commodores this week. 

Stute is ranked the 162 best player in the country, the 32cd. small forward and the number three player in the Metro D.C. area according to 247 Sports composite rankings.    

He chose the Commodores over defending national champion Virginia as well as Texas A&M and Florida from the SEC.

 Per 247 Sports, Stute is a tremendous athlete with the ability to shoot from the outside and score at the rim.
