Gameday Open Thread Live: Vanderbilt vs South Carolina

THe countdown to kickoff is on as the Commodores get set to face off with South Carolina.

The term "must win" is often overused in sports, but tonight's Vanderbilt-South Carolina matchup at Williams-Brice Stadium is just that for both teams.

Listening to a national sports talk radio program earlier today the commentators talked of the must win situation facing Will Muschamp and Carolina, but neglected to mention that the Commodores are in the exact same situation.

A road trip to Florida, who are currently trailing Georgia in Jacksonville comes for the Commodores next week and that will be a far tougher task than facing the Gamecocks tonight.
