Halftime Report: Florida 14 Vanderbilt 0

The Vanderbilt defense held the Florida Gators scoreless for just over 15 minutes before the Gators got on the board, it didn't take long for them to add the second score of the first half. .
Facing a 4th and goal at the Commodores 1-yard line, Gators quarterback Kyle Trask flipped the football forward to running back Lemicel Perine for the touchdown to give the Gators the first lead of the game.
On the ensuing Vanderbilt pissession, quarterback Deuce Wallace was picked of by Florida's Donovan Stiner who returned the football to the Commodores 23 yard line.
The Gators would waste little time, needing just 4 plays to find the endzone with Trask running it on from 9-yards out to give the Gators a 14-0 advantage.
Following another three-and-out by the Commodores offense where Wallace was sacked on second down, putting them behind the chains. the Gators took over at their own 46 yard line.
The drive ended at the Commodores 24 yard line where McPherson missed a 39 yard field goal attempts.
A sack of Trask by Andre Mintz set up the long field goal try by the Gators.
Florida would drive to the Vanderbilt 17 yard line with just :16 remaining in the half, but Tay Daley collected his second interception of the half at the goal line to stop the Gators drive.
Once again Wallace struggled in the first half, throwing his third interception in the last two games. Through two quarters today, he is 1 of 4 for 2 yards with one interception.
Kalijah Lipscomb finally became an option for the Commodres offense late in the second quarter, carrying the football 10 yards for a first down on a jet sweep. He would add his first reception of the half, gaining three-yards on a reception in the last drive of the half for the Commodores.
The Commodores offense line struggled protecting the quarterback in the first half, allowing four sacks to the Gators defense.
In spite of the offensive struggles and turnovers, the Commodores remain within stricking distance if they can somehow find at least a semblance of offense in the final half.
