Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason said that "nothing is off the table" for he and his staff as they look for answers to fix the issues that have plagued them during the first half of the season.

Sitting at 1-4 overall and 0-3 in conference play, the Commodores have struggled in most areas this season and now find themselves with their backs to the wall, needing to win five of their final seven games just to reach bowl eligibility.

Included in those possible changes according to Mason, possibly moving coordinators during the games to attempt to give them a better oppotunity in play calling, changing quarterbacks, replacing starters throughout the lineup.

It's all being looked at, you know. I don't take anything off the table. believe me," said Mason. "Everything you've thought of, man, believe me, I've been there twice over."

"I've been doing this long enough, I mean, I think I know and understand enough to know exactly how to evaluate it," added Mason. "To most people I think , it's, most people think it may be just about players and plays, but it's not just about players and plays. You try to evaluate it all and make sure that you touch every part in doing what you're doing and then you check it and check it again and again to make sure that you're getting it right. It's not about being right, it's about getting it right."

Mason said he has been pleased with the effort of his team in theor approach to watching film from Ole Miss and how they have practiced to this point this week.

The Commodores host UNLV Saturday afternoon at 3pm at Vanderbilt Stadium.
