University of Washington QB Jacob Eason had a relatively quiet, yet efficient day Saturday as his Huskies took on Pac 12 South foe, USC. Eason finished the day with 16 of 26 passing for 180 yards and no touchdowns. But he had no turnovers on the day and was ultimately able to lead his Dawgs to a 28-14 victory over the Trojans.

Eason wasn’t asked to do much as his running backs had a monster day rushing from the line of scrimmage. USC’s defensive backs were long and athletic, making passing windows tight for the Husky QB. But Eason made the most of the opportunities that were given to him by the Trojan’s defense, with check downs, and bubble screens. He took the occasional shot down field and was able to connect with Hunter Bryant who made an impressive 20 yard catch and run, leaving several Trojan defenders in his wake.
