Buckeyes Are At It Again, Host UW Commit

In this story:
Ohio State could be meddling into University of Washington football affairs again, in ways that aren't making anyone any friends.
Last year, well in advance of the Huskies joining the Big Ten, the Buckeyes abruptly canceled out of a home-and-home series with the UW.
In December, Ohio State convinced South Dakota high school quarterback Lincoln Kienholz to renege on his Husky recruiting commitment at the last minute and sign with the Midwest powerhouse.
Last weekend, the Buckeyes were still messing with Kalen DeBoer's program by bringing another UW commit — 6-foot-5, 250-pound edge rusher Dominic Kirks from Cleveland — in for a visit after previously showing him little attention, same as Kienholz.

Kirks is one of the UW's 2024 marquee commitments, a 4-star recruit from Riverside High School who's also been pursued by Wisconsin, Pittsburgh, Michigan State and Nebraska among others.
Now those intrusive Buckeyes are casting a furtive eye at this Ohio-produced defensive talent who may keep everyone guessing until he actually signs his national letter of intent in two months.
Either way, this should make for more unfriendliness between these schools leading up to their next meeting, which will come in 2025, when Ohio State visits Husky Stadium.
Kirks should be there that day, it just appears to be a little unclear which uniform he'll be wearing.
