Huskies Continue SoCal QB Sweep, Offer One from Temecula

In this story:
This week, University of Washington recruiters have opened their playbook in seeking a 2025 quarterback and for the most part checked off the same boxes while offering six recruits.
Each recipient comes from Southern California, with that class of players particularly deep at this position.
They're all good-sized QBs, standing 6-foot-3 to 6-6, with one exception — Ashton "Dash" Beierly, who, at 6-foot-1, leans more to Dylan Morris stature as this 3-star prospect stands behind center and calls for the ball.
Yet this prospect from Chapparal High School in touristy Temecula, California, halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego, has a Husky offer because he's shown himself to be mobile and athletic, maybe more so than the other UW targets.
Thankful for the offer to attend and play for @UW_Football . Thank you Teachers, Teammates, and Coaches for helping me receive this opportunity. @KalenDeBoer @GrubbRyan @WilliamInge1 @GregBiggins @ChadSimmons_ @adamgorney @BrandonHuffman @CraigHaubert @chaparralpumafb pic.twitter.com/1jSQ6sYT6c

In four days, the Kalen DeBoer's staff has sent out rapid-fire offers to a half-dozen SoCal signal-callers coming off their sophomore seasons.
It's an interesting strategy by the Huskies in making connections with all of these top guns in that region from that class and basically seeing who among them falls into place and comes to Montlake. It'll likely just be one.
In 10 games for a 7-5 team, Beierly put himself on the recruiting map by completing 126 of 211 passes for 1,855 yards and 15 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. He missed two games with an injury and often split time with a senior quarterback.
Congratulations to Dash Beierly on earning an offer from The University of Washington today! #PumaPRIDE pic.twitter.com/NrUXkAUPAw

Still, Beierly was named second-team all-conference for the quarterback snapshot that he provided. He also has that interesting nickname, though its origins are not spelled out on the internet.
He has nine offers so far, hearing from Arizona, BYU, California, Hawaii, Miami, Minnesota, Pittsburgh and San Diego State besides the UW.
