Tommy Tofi is a 6-foot-7, 330-pound offensive lineman, possibly a center, just 15, whose football shadow stretches from Sacramento to San Francisco.

He's the son of Ioana "John" Tofi, 39 and a former college basketball player, who has a 6-foot-8, 250-pound build and made a name for himself in Belgium pro basketball, earning MVP honors in 2016. He appears to be recently retired.

Young Tofi also is the brother of John Tofi Jr., a promising 6-foot-4, 175-pound quarterback who started as a sophomore last fall and helped guide Sacramento's Sheldon High School Huskies to an 8-4 season.

No offense to the others in a wide-ranging household, but Tommy Tofi is the one who's going to have everyone talking about him as he moves forward.

He's a huge and athletic for a prospect for his age, with untold possibilities.

While his father played basketball for UTEP as a four-year starter in 2003-06, Tommy Tofi, with just a ninth-grade football season under his belt, holds scholarship offers from the University of Washington, Oregon, Utah, Nebraska, Hawaii, Nevada and Idaho so far. The Huskies offered him on Sunday.

"Little" Tommy drew attention to himself by competing recently in Los Angeles in the Giant Skillz Athletic camp for prospective linemen.

While he spent his freshman year at Sheldon playing with his brother John, the family no doubt determined that Tommy Tofi needed a different high school to properly develop as a prospective college lineman in the class of 2026.

For his sophomore season, intriguing prospect has transferred to Archbishop Riordan High in the heart of San Francisco.
