In this story:

Multiple members of Washington's coaching staff attended Sacramento State University's camp that the school hosted on June 14. The staff ended up handing out numerous offers at the camp, including to two-way Bay Area star Isaiah Ene.

Ene is a member of the class of 2026 and shined as a freshman at both running back and safety for Granite Bay High School. The 5-foot-8, 185-pound prospect is also no stranger to the spotlight, as USC has been scouting him since he was just 10 years old

While the Trojans haven't extended an offer to him just yet, he already holds five scholarship offers coming off of his freshman season. Four of them are from Pac-12 schools, including Arizona, Colorado and Utah, along with Washington.

Ene has all the makings of a future standout on either side of the ball. Playing as a freshman on varsity, he rarely looked overmatched physically while also displaying a high football IQ.

As a running back, he shows off great strength and contact balance. Ene also has good vision, finding running lanes with ease. As a defensive back, he has great ball skills, is an exceptional tackler and is rarely caught out of position.

While Washington extended Ene's offer as a running back, the coaching staff probably wouldn't have any issues if he said he wanted to play defensive back. Ene is a future top 150 prospect thanks to his intelligence, skillset and athleticism. Whenever he ends up making his college decision, he'll almost certainly have 20-plus offers to choose from.

I've followed the Huskies for my entire life, and to be in a position where I get to cover them full-time is nothing short of an honor. After graduating from Lasell University in 2019, I moved to Seattle to pursue my dream of working in sports media. While writing for the Husky Haul, I also covered local sports for the Everett Daily Herald before the COVID-19 pandemic. After being hired by Realdawg.com in February of 2021, I also transitioned into doing a lot of entertainment writing, as I work on a variety of magazines as a contributing writer for Centennial Media, and have also contributed to Emmy Magazine, as well as Walt Disney Television Studios.
