Kalen DeBoer has a specific plan in mind when it comes to official visits. Washington's head coach found that it works well after securing eight commitments over a visit weekend in 2022 and he's clearly planning on another big weekend at the end of June.

The Husky coaching staff is going to host a few official visitors over the week of June 19 before the big weekend, beginning with three-star edge rusher Deshawn Warner on Tuesday, June 20. According to a report from Scott Eklund at 247 Sports, three-star cornerback Elias Johnson is going to spend the majority of his week in Seattle.

A product of Jesuit High School in Portland, Oregon, Johnson apparently will be visiting Washington both unofficially and officially in the same week. The coaching staff extended an offer to the 6-foot-3 cornerback on May 22 and has been recruiting him tenaciously ever since.

The big-bodied cornerback has flown under the radar as a recruit, but should pick up some steam heading into his senior year. He holds other Pac-12 offers from Oregon State and Washington State, but has yet to set up a visit to either school.

If Johnson does end up spending close to a week on campus, that seems to bode well for the Huskies' chances with him. Securing a commitment from him will go a long way for both parties, as Johnson is a perfect fit for the scheme co-defensive coordinator Chuck Morrell wants to run in the secondary.

Johnson should also see a major ratings boost going into his senior season.
