Washington Lands Commitment From 2024 3-Star OL

In this story:
After starting 4-0 and ranking as the seventh-best team in the country in the most recent Associated Press poll, Washington has added another player from the recruiting front, too — from Kalen DeBoer's former coaching territory no less.
On Sunday night, Davit Boyajyan of Clovis North High School in Fresno, California, announced his intentions to join Washington's class of 2024 over offers from Fresno State and Sacramento State.
The Huskies had a huge recruiting week at the end of June, landing 11 of the now 13 members in the class of 2024, but hadn't added a commitment since June 30, when four-star defensive lineman Dominic Kirks chose Washington.
Boyajyan gives the Huskies another promising big body for offensive-line coach Scott Huff to develop. Listed at 6-foot-6 and 305 pounds, this second member of the offensive-line class brings top-tier size and his film appears to indicate why he earned a Husky offer.
I am blessed to announce my commitment to @UW_Football!! I would like to thank all my family, friends, and coaches because without them none of this would have been possible. All Glory To God 🕊️

One word that would describe Boyajyan in his highlights is bully. He also has quick feet that help him utilize his natural power and, when he's run-blocking, he moves defenders off their spots rather quickly, opening up huge holes.
Although he has the size to play either guard or tackle at the next level, Huff most likely will want to use him along the interior of the offensive line because of his size and strength.
Boyajyan also looks pretty good in pass protection, thanks to an impressive power slide that counters speed rushers well. With his massive frame, he makes it's hard for defensive linemen to get around him, too.
Scholarships are beginning to become scarce for the UW's class of 2024. Just one might be remaining for the offensive line, with speculation that three-star offensive tackle Ikinasio Tupou from Palo Alto, California, is the favorite to take the spot.
This could end up being a big week for the Huskies on the recruiting front after 4-star safety Joshua Lair took his official visit to Washington this past weekend.
Lair is set to announce his commitment on Monday and he's deciding between Baylor, Texas and Washington.

I've followed the Huskies for my entire life, and to be in a position where I get to cover them full-time is nothing short of an honor. After graduating from Lasell University in 2019, I moved to Seattle to pursue my dream of working in sports media. While writing for the Husky Haul, I also covered local sports for the Everett Daily Herald before the COVID-19 pandemic. After being hired by Realdawg.com in February of 2021, I also transitioned into doing a lot of entertainment writing, as I work on a variety of magazines as a contributing writer for Centennial Media, and have also contributed to Emmy Magazine, as well as Walt Disney Television Studios.
