Washington Target Emmett Mosley Fits the Offense Perfectly

In this story:
Four-star receiver Emmett Mosley comes from an incredibly athletic family. The Washington target's parents both played sports at Notre Dame, his mother is a national champion soccer player, while his father played running back and wide receiver. His sister plays soccer at Iowa and now it's his turn to figure out where he'll be playing his college ball.
The 6-0, 175-pound product of Santa Margarita Catholic High School holds 18 offers to some of the country's best programs. Mosley has received offers from Alabama, LSU, Notre Dame, and Texas among others, but seems to have cut his list down.
He has already taken official visits to UCLA and Stanford and has a visit scheduled with Washington for the weekend of June 23. The nation's 314th overall player is one of the top players on the board for the Huskies and it's very clear why after looking at his film.

Mosley runs well and breezes by defenders frequently, also displaying great concentration at the catch point when he knows he's going to take a hit. He lines up all over the formation and creates separation thanks to excellent footwork and an advanced understanding of releasing off the line of scrimmage.
The most impressive part of Mosley's game is probably his play strength. He displays great contact balance with the ball in his hands, regularly shedding tackles and rarely going down at first contact.
Playing in the Trinity League, which is widely considered to be one of the toughest high school football leagues in the country, Mosley has the chance to make waves during his senior season and rise into the top 200 nationally. Now the question is, can wide receivers coach JaMarcus Shephard seal the deal and earn a commitment from him?

I've followed the Huskies for my entire life, and to be in a position where I get to cover them full-time is nothing short of an honor. After graduating from Lasell University in 2019, I moved to Seattle to pursue my dream of working in sports media. While writing for the Husky Haul, I also covered local sports for the Everett Daily Herald before the COVID-19 pandemic. After being hired by Realdawg.com in February of 2021, I also transitioned into doing a lot of entertainment writing, as I work on a variety of magazines as a contributing writer for Centennial Media, and have also contributed to Emmy Magazine, as well as Walt Disney Television Studios.
