Bob Huggins Answers Question About Future/Retirement

How much longer will Huggins remain the head coach at WVU?

West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins loves the university, the state, and its fans and wants to do everything he can to help bring home a national championship trophy. He always tells the story about how cool it would be to bring the trophy home, hop on a bus, and go around the state for fans to hold it, take a picture with it, and celebrate something West Virginia has never had before.

After sixteen seasons in Morgantown, Huggins is still chasing that trophy and it appears he doesn't plan on ending that quest anytime soon. Unfortunately, ours wasn't very long but at least he got to play in one. I don't know. It's like anything else. You probably got people who enjoy what you write and there's probably people who say I wouldn't read a damn thing he writes. And I got the same situation going on. I got people who think I should stay on for quite a while and there's people who are thinking I ought to pack it in and let some young kid come in and screw it up. So..."
