Austin, TX - Texas forward Dylan Disu led all scorers with 27 points and guided the Longhorns (16-9, 5-6) to a 94-58 beatdown of the West Virginia Mountaineers (8-15, 3-7) Saturday afternoon.

West Virginia and Texas traded buckets in the opening minutes before the Longhorns put together an 11-0 run and stretched it to a 20-4 run to take a 27-11 lead near the midway point of the first half.

Texas forward Dylan Disu led the Longhorns with 19 points on a perfect 7-7 shooting from the field, including 5-5 from three-point range in his first seven minutes of action.

Texas continued its momentum, building a 27-point lead before taking a 55-30 advantage into halftime, behind an efficient 67.5% shooting from the floor, alongside 8-16 from behind the arc, while West Virginia commited 10 first half turnovers.

Dylan Disu opened the second half with a three, but the Longhorns cooled, shooting 5-18 in the first eight minutes of the action. However, the Mountaineers could not find a rhythm, going 4-15 from the field as the Longhorns built a 70-40 lead with 11 minutes remaining in the game.
