Tennessee Transfer Sets Visit to West Virginia

Huggins isn't done in the portal just yet.

West Virginia will have a ton of new faces on the men's basketball roster in 2023-24 and if you thought Bob Huggins and his staff were done in the portal, you're wrong. Mountaineers Now has confirmed that Tennessee transfer F Olivier Nkamhoua (6'9", 236 lbs) has scheduled a visit from May 27-28. The news was first reported by Ethan Bock of the Portal Report.

At the end of the season, Nkamhoua announced that he would enter the transfer portal and the 2023 NBA Draft, keeping his options wide open. He recently participated in the NBA G League Elite Camp at the NBA Combine in Chicago and had an impressive outing in game three posting 12 points, two rebounds, and two assists.

In four years with the Volunteers, Nkamhoua played in 112 games (88 starts) and notched 733 points and 427 rebounds. This past season, he averaged 10.8 points, five rebounds, two assists, and 0.6 blocks per game while shooting 51% from the floor.

Nkamhoua will have one year of eligibility remaining. The deadline to withdraw from the NBA Draft is Monday, June 12th at 5 p.m. EST.
