Manhattan, KS - Kansas State's barrage of threes had the Wildcats (17-11, 7-8) up by as many as 25 in the second half, but West Virginia engineers comeback to send the game into overtime. However, the Mountaineers (9-19, 4-11) turned cold in the extra period and fell 94-90.

West Virginia and Kansas State combined to shoot 6-22 from the floor to start the game and were tied at eight at the 13:21 mark of the first half. 

The Wildcats were leading 18-15 before starting to pull away from the Mountaineers. Kansas State was comfortable on the offensive end, shooting 11-19 from three-point range in the first half, led by guard Tylor Perry's 4-6 effort from behind the arc to build a 48-26 halftime lead. Perry led all scorers at the break with 12 points. 

West Virginia started the second half on a 5-0 spurt, but the Wildcats remained hot from the outside and built their largest lead of the game of 25 with 13:39 left to play. 

The Mountaineers put together 19-2 run, capped off with a three from guard Seth Wilson to get within five, with 10 points coming from guard RaeQuan Battle with five minutes remaining in the game. 

West Virginia point guard Kerr Kriisa buried a three as the Mountaineers pulled within two, forward Quinn Slazinksi tied the at 74 with a runner in the lane, and Kriisa hit a three from the top of the key to give West Virginia a 77-74 lead with just over two minutes left to play. 

West Virginia center Jesse Edwards missed a pair of free throws with the Mountaineers up two before Kansas State guard Tylor Perry went 2-2 from the line to tie the game with 15 seconds remaining. 

Kerr Kriisa missed the mid-range jumper as time expired and the game went into overtime. 

The Mountaineers started 0-5 from the field to begin overtime and the Wildcats grabbed a 87-81 lead but two threes from Battle had the Mountaineers within one with 25 seconds left in the game. 

Tylor Perry hit a pair of free throws to push the lead back to three, and with 15.4 seconds remaining, Kansas State opted to foul Krissa, sending him to the line with a pair of free throws and Kriisa hit both from the line to get the Mountaineers within one. 

A foul sent Perry back for two free throws with just under nine seconds remaining to extend the lead back to three. 

Raquan Battle lifted a three from right wing and it was off the mark and the ball went out of bounds off of West Virginia as the Wildcats held on for the 94-90 victory.
