WVU Forward Enters the Transfer Portal

On Monday, West Virginia forward sophomore forward Jamel King announced his intentions to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal.
"Thank you, Mountaineer Nation for everything. These last two seasons has really been hard not playing and competing with the guys I call my brothers. I also want to thank WVU for the experience and opportunity that has been provided to me.
"With that being said, I will be entering my name in the transfer portal.
"Once a Mountaineers Always a Mountaineers."
The Uniontown, Alabama, native appeared in eight games last season and averaged 1.5 points and 0.6 rebounds per game. He scored a season-high five points versus Penn in November and grabbed a career-best two rebounds against Stony Brook in a season-high eight minutes.
King chose WVU over Samford, Cal State Northridge, South Alabama, Arkansas State, New Mexico, UAB, Troy, Tennessee Tech, East Tennessee State, Kennesaw State and Tennessee State.
