WVU Schedules Toledo for 2023-24 Season

Mountaineers add to next year’s slate.

West Virginia has added the Toledo Rockets to their 2023-24 schedule for December 23rd, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports. This is the second game to be added to next year’s non-conference schedule in as many days, following the announcement of playing St. John’s in the Big East-Big 12 Battle. 

This will be the third all time meeting between West Virginia and Toledo with the series tied up at one a piece. The last meeting occurred all the way back in 1942 when the Mountaineers came out on top, 51-39.
