Big 12 News: Kansas Lands Michigan Transfer Hunter Dickinson

Thursday morning, the Kansas Jayhawks landed the best player available in the transfer portal, former Michigan center Hunter Dickinson.
Dickinson is a three-time All-Big Ten performer, was named the Big Ten's Rookie of the Year in 2020-21, and was a consensus All-American in 2021.
The 7'1", 260-pound big man averaged 14.7 points and 7.4 rebounds as a freshman, 18.6 and 8.6 as a sophomore, and 18.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks this past season as a junior. Although the big lefty does much of his work in the paint, he has worked on his three-point shot over the last two years and has started to take a few shots out there and has been successful. Last year he went 21/64 (33%) and this past season went 24/57 42%.
He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
