Highlights & Evaluation of WVU DL Commit Nathan Gabriel

West Virginia received a verbal commitment from defensive lineman Nathan Gabriel, marking the 20th commitment of the 2024 class and the fifth pledge along the defensive front. The Auburndale, FL native chose the Mountaineers over the other top finalists Kansas State, South Florida, Illinois, and East Carolina.
Highlights
Evaluation
Gabriel is a physical presence in the interior of the defensive line but what stands out is his awareness in the midst of the chaos with good eye discipline.
He pushes the pocket into the quarterback's face or evades the offensive lineman and joins the pursuit to the ball, showing agility along the way, and never gives up on the play.
The six-foot-three 285-pound nose guard fills the gaps and ball carriers fail to elude or escape the grasp of the six-foot-three 285-pound nose guard.
