Top UNC WR Opts Out of Bowl Game vs. West Virginia

According to Inside Carolina, University North Carolina Tar Heels leading receiver Devontez Walker will opt of the Duke's Mayo Bowl and declare for the NFL Draft Friday night.

Walker registered a team-high 699 receiving yards on 41 receptions, which tied for second on the team, to go with a team-best seven touchdowns, despite missing the first four games of the season after he was ruled ineligible by the NCAA following a transfer from Kent State.
The West Charlotte native recorded a career-high three touchdowns to with 132 yards in his second game as a Tah Heel in a win over Miami. Then tied a career-best 11 receptions for 146 yards and a touchdown versus Virginia before registering a career-high 162 receiving yards in the double overtime win over Duke in the second week of November.
