West Virginia inside linebackers coach and special teams coordinator Jeff Koonz discusses the new faces at linebacker and specialists competing for the starting job

The West Virginia football program is in week three of the spring practice period. The Mountaineers will hold two practices this week before taking the weekend off. 

Inside linebackers coach and special teams coordinator Jeff Koonz met with the media following the eighth practice of the spring period and talked about middle linebacker Lee Kpogba's development, replacing last year's production, finding playmakers on special teams and more. 

The annual Gold and Blue Spring Game April 22 with start time set for 1:00 p.m.
