Bishop spent the bulk of his collegiate career at Western Kentucky. Following his freshman season, he tallied 73 tackles, including 8.5 tackles for a loss, eight pass breakups, and three interceptions in 28 games at WKU before transferring to Minnesota last year. In one season as a Golden Gopher, he recorded 29 tackles and one pass deflection.
Bishop chose WVU over Kent State, Louisville, Purdue, Charlotte, and Western Kentucky.
